Abstract
Hydrogen bonding is undoubtedly the most widely appreciated non-covalent interaction in chemical and biological systems. Although classified as a weak interaction in textbooks, hydrogen bonding is central to molecular recognition, supramolecular assembly and self-organization in solutions and in crystals.
