Abstract
Barium strontium titanate (BST) is considered as best ferroelectric materials because of its eco-friendly nature, superior dielectric properties, and variable transition temperature (Tc). BST have applications in different fields such as non-volatile memory devices, pyroelectric detectors and opto-electronic devices. In this paper, solid state reaction method has been used to synthesize Ba1-xSrxTiO3 (x = 0.3) ceramic sample. Tetragonal phase has been confirmed using X-ray diffraction with no impurity phase. Raman characteristic peaks observed at 300 cm−1 and 728 cm−1 confirmed the formation of tetragonal unit cell. Morphological studies confirm the well distributed grains. BST sample shows the good frequency dependent dielectric behaviour which is attributed to the Maxwell-Wagner space charge polarization. © 2022
