Abstract

Experiments were done to get the exhaust plume images of a working prototype of an MPD engine, under different conditions and specifications are analyzed. Hough transformation of an image and intensity ratio method for estimating the temperature of a Region of Interest (ROI) in an image, are discussed in detail. Important engine parameters are estimated to study the performance of the MPD engine.
