Divorce is an escalating concern across societies, profoundly affecting families and communities with manifold implications. The well-being of relationships is greatly impacted by marital conflicts, which calls for creative solutions and personal development. This paper delves into the roots of human emotions and behaviours by addressing the core element which is emotional intelligence. A novel integrated framework is introduced, laying the groundwork for the subsequent development of an application aimed at enhancing emotional intelligence within the context of marital interactions. This research contributes not only to the practical domain of marital conflict resolution but also advances a theoretical lens through the integration of a specific framework into the application. By synthesising empirical findings with theoretical insights, this paper aims to guide future research and interventions at the intersection of emotional intelligence, technology, and marital harmony. This paper's scope extends beyond marital dynamics, offering insights applicable to diverse spheres including professional environments, social interactions, and leadership roles. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
