Abstract
In November 2022, OpenAI introduced ChatGPT, an AI chatbot tool built upon the generative pretrained transformer (GPT) architecture. ChatGPT swiftly gained prominence on the internet, providing users with a platform to engage in conversations with an AI system, leveraging OpenAI's sophisticated language model. While ChatGPT exhibits remarkable capabilities, generating content spanning from tales, poetry, songs, and essays, it does have inherent limitations. Users can pose queries to the chatbot, which responds with relevant and persuasive information. The tool has garnered significant attention in academic circles, leading institutions to establish task forces and host widespread discussions on its adoption. This chapter offers an overview of ChatGPT and its significance, presenting a visual representation of Progressive Workflow Processes associated with the tool. © 2024, IGI Global.
