Abstract

Conducting polymers which are also known as synthetic metals is one of the attractive branches of polymers. Over the past few years, as the biomedical research progresses, these materials have been widely utilized in biomedical applications like controlled drug release, neuronal therapies, tissue engineering, biosensors, and polymer-based artificial muscles due to its unique properties such as tunable electrical conductivity, environmental stability, easy processing, and biocompatibility. © 2024 by Apple Academic Press, Inc.
