Abstract

This short communication elucidates the developed as-cast CoCrNi-based eutectic high entropy alloy by prefixing valence electron concentration to balance strength and ductility. The developed EHEA includes a face-centered cubic (FCC) phase, ordered B2 phase, and precipitates. The dislocation pile-up at the FCC/B2 interface balances the strength and ductility in a wide temperature range. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.
