Abstract
This paper presents a novel and general approach for the power flow analysis in multiterminal DC systems. A major feature of this approach is the clear demarcation of the controller and the DC network equations which enables the consideration of a variety of converter controls. The method can also handle the constraints on several variables such as DC current (Id),converter control angle $(\theta)$ and off nominal tap ratio (a).
