Abstract
We demonstrate the design of point-of-care photoluminescence membrane strip (PoCPMS) by coating the carbon nano dots (CNDs) on polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) membrane for the detection of dopamine (DA). The photoluminescence (PL) of PoCPMS is quenched by treating with Fe2+ solution which is again recovered by adding the dopamine (DA). Thus, providing novel membrane route for the detection of both DA and Fe2+ on single flat form in the presence of UV light (portable pen UV torch). Furthermore, we have demonstrated the PL quenching and recovery phenomenon in aqueous phase. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.
