Abstract

We demonstrate on-chip silicon nitride waveguide-enhanced fluorescence detection. The fluorescence analyte is evanescently excited, and the emitted fluorescence is collected using out-of-plane over the waveguide and in-plane using a grating coupler. © 2024 IEEE.
