Abstract

Alinear magnetic field sensor for low temperature $(T\leq60 K)$ use based on magnetoresistance of the perovskite oxide material $La_{0.7}Sr_{0.3}Co0_3$ is reported. The magnetoresistance is negative and is linear in field up to at least 7 T. It is temperature independent for $T\leq 60 K$ and has a small anisotropy (20%) with respect to the direction of the measuring field.
