Abstract

Cu2SnS3(CTS) films are prepared on soda lime glass substrates by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis at different Sn concentration. The structural, composition, morphological and optical properties of the CTS films are discussed. Structural analysis confirms the formation of Cu2SnS3tetragonal structure. Stoichiometric films are obtained with increase in Sn concentration. Films exhibited p type conductivity with energy band gap close to optimum value of 1.5 eV for thin film solar cell applications. © 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
