Abstract
In this paper an on-demand energy based routing (EBR) algorithm is proposed which considers high energy and high throughput containing mobile nodes for routing to avoid the use of low battery capacity nodes and frequent packet loss. Cluster based approach is used to minimize the overall broadcast in route discovery. The designed algorithm has been tested in ad hoc environment with the finite number of nodes where the mobile nodes moves from one cluster to another cluster.
