Abstract
Coordination polymers of the general formula Co[HN(CH2)(n)NH]SO4 possessing layers formed by CoO4N2 octahedra and SO4 tetrahedra have been synthesized under solvothermal conditions. The layers, linked by diaminoalkanes, cause apertures of varying widths, which are determined by the chain length of the amine. These materials appear to possess weak ferromagnetic interaction at low temperatures.
