Abstract

Orbital ionisation energies and electronic transitions of the 1:1 addition compound between $BF_3$ and $H_2S$ have been investigated by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy. The $\sigma\rightarrow\sigma^*$ transition of the donor-acceptor bond is assigned to an energy loss feature at 9.4 e V.
