Abstract

Exptl. verification of a new method of electrochem. corrosion rate detn. of passive metals is provided by using 6 corrosion systems: type 304 stainless steel in NaOH, $(NH_4)2SO_4$, and $H_3PO_4$ solutionsns.; and Ti alloy in NaCl, $NaClO_3$, and $NaClO_4$ solutionsns.
