Proton magnetic resonance spectra were recorded at room temperature and 77 K for $NH_4PF_6$ at atm pressure and 14 kbar. 19F NMR spectra were observed. for $NH_4PF_6$ and $ND_4PF_6$ as a function of temperature. at 1 bar and 14 kbar, and as a function of pressure at 77 K. Plot of 2nd moments are given. The results are discussed in terms of motion of the NH4+ and $PF_6$- groups. Proton NMR spectra were also recorded for $CH_3NH_3I$ at \leq14 kbar between room temperature and 77 K. The second moment of the spectra recorded at 77 K showed a jump between 2 and 4.5 kbar. Spectral lines recorded for $CH_3ND_3I$ remained narrow at all temperatures and pressures, indicating that pressure does not affect the barrier to $CH_3$ group motion; the group has a low barrier to motion even at high pressures and can tunnel at low temperatures.
