Abstract
A preliminary phosphorus-31 NMR (31P NMR) spectroscopic study on thermophilic fungus T. lanuginosus has been carried out. Phosphate signals arising from different compartments like cytoplasm and vacuoles are identified, and the changes associated with them in the presence of an energy source like glucose are monitored.
