Polyaniline film was deposited on Pt from a 0.5M $H_2SO_4$ soln. contg. 0.1M aniline by repetitive potential cycling. Cyclic voltammetric expts. were carried out of the polyaniline film in a fresh 0.5M $H_2SO_4$ soln. at an initial potential of -0.20 V with varying switching potential of 1.00, 1.20, 1.40, 1.60, and 1.80 V. The peak height was increased on repeating the scans. The voltammetric charge (-0.20 to 1.00 Y) of the anodic and cathodic half cycles was a linear function of the switching potential which indicated that polyaniline film increased with an increase in the switching potential.
