Abstract

This work presents the models and analytical expressions to compute Bending modulus of disc shaped cells and Young's modulus of spherical cells under fluidic shear stress. We further experimentally validate these models by determining the Bending modulus and Young's modulus of red blood cells (RBCs) and MCF-7 cancer cells respectively, while in flow. © 2020 CBMS-0001
