Abstract
A method for the determination of the proton–carbon dipolar couplings and the order parameters along several C–H bond axes of the liquid crystal N-(p\prime-methoxybenzylidene)-p-n-butylaniline by using the transient oscillations observed in cross polarization experiments has been propose two- dimensional NMR method based on the idea of the depolarization of rare spins has also been shown to be of use in determining the oscillation frequencies.
