Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new fast direct solver based on the Schur Decomposition method. The single-level compressed H-Matrix is factorized into LDU format, where L is a lower triangle, and U is the upper triangle compressed block matrix. D is the diagonal block matrix. The solution process includes matrix-vector multiplication with L and U, along with a diagonal block solution of D. The high cost of factorization is overcome by using low-rank block matrix operations. © 2024 IEEE.
