Abstract
We propose an efficient way to couple light into an ultra-thin silicon nitride waveguide thickness of 40 nm. The simulated coupling efficiency for gratings is -0.4 dB, and the 3dB bandwidth is 182 nm. © Optica Publishing Group 2023 © 2023 The Author(s).
