Abstract

In this paper, we use the Method of Moment (MoM) based Fast Volume Surface Integral Equation (FSVIE) for the full wave analysis of an array antenna at 13.75GHz. In the FSVIE, the dielectric volume part is modeled with SWG tetrahedral basis function, and the conducting surface part is modeled with the RWG triangle basis function. The acceleration of matrix filling and solution is carried out using Adaptive Cross Approximation (ACA) based matrix compression method. Our results show FSVIE gives significant savings for matrix storage as well as time savings for both matrix fill and solution. © 2023 IEEE.
