Abstract

Optical coupling between heterogenous nanophotonic structures is a promising approach to enhance nonlinear optical response. Here we demonstrate second harmonic generation enhancement by 152-times from an isolated Selenium nanowire coupled to a silicon disk supporting Mie Resonances while maintaining the polarization selectivity of the nanowire. © 2023 IEEE.
