Abstract

We demonstrate a C-band PZT-on-SOI electro-optic modulator with an electro-optic bandwidth of >12 GHz and a V�L� of 0.6 V-cm. An electro-optic response of 228 pm/V is measured with a 3D poling and measurement scheme. © Optica Publishing Group 2023 © 2023 The Author(s)
