Abstract

DNA from 48 ht germinated rice embryos was cut with restriction ertdotvuclease Bam HI and cloned to the Bam HI bite on plasma pBR 322. The clones containing recombinant DNA were selected by their sensitivity to tetraeycline ana, resistance to ampicillia. Using S2P-labelled rice embryo tRNA as a probe two clones were identified to contain tRNA. genes by colony hybridization. © (1981), (Indian Academy of Sciences). All Rights Reserved.
