Abstract
So far we have not addressed the question of finding electromagnetic fields due to time-varying charges and currents. Now we need to turn our attention to this problem—especially if we want to understand the process of the emission of electromagnetic radiation. For this purpose, we have to solve Maxwell’s equations allowing for all the terms to be non-zero.
