Abstract
Many important laws of physics are of the nature of dynamical laws, that is, laws which involve spatial variables and dependence on time. Since Maxwell’s equations involve derivatives with respect to space and time, they are clearly dynamical laws. When stating a dynamical law of physics, one has to specify the frame of reference with respect to which the spatial coordinates and time are to be measured.
