Abstract
Numerous cases have been reported wherein drones have been used for eavesdropping, planned attacks on vital installations, and accidental damages to defense and civil assets. This paper proposes using a low-cost Software Defined Radio based system to protect vital areas against unauthorized drones. The paper proposes the use of software defined radio as a radar for drone detection along with Jamming and spoofing of drone GPS to protect vital areas. Real-time tests of the implemented solution were carried out with varying scenarios demonstrating the proposed system's effectiveness. © 2022 IEEE.
