Abstract

In the present work, we have investigated the thermoelectric properties of LaFe0.1Co0.9O3 (LFCO) compound. Sample was synthesized by using the sol-gel method. Room temperature X-ray diffraction pattern were collected for the structural confirmation. The calculated value of crystallite size using Debye scherrer formula is ∼23nm. The value of Seebeck coefficient (α) measurement were performed in 300-600K temperature range. In the entire temperature region under study, we observed positive Seebeck coefficient, and an overall improvement in the magnitude of the Seebebck coefficient is found. The magnitude of α are found to be ∼928μV/K and ∼83μV/K at ∼300K and ∼600K, respectively.
