Abstract

We demonstrate side-hole packaged; nanolayer Molybdenum (Mo) coated etched Fiber Bragg Grating (eFBG) as hydrostatic pressure sensor. Pressure sensitivity enhancement of nearly 2000 times is observed with such a simple, ruggedized and packaged sensor system. © 2019 The Author (s).
