Abstract

Electrical resistivity measurements of bulk samples of carbon nanotubes show that the resistivity behavlour of nanotubes ls comparable to that of graphite. Themopower behavlour of nanotubes Is similar to that of certaln pyrolytic graphites. Tunneling conductance measurements on lsolated tubes however show the existence of a conductance gap whlch increases with the Inverse dtameter of the tube.
