Abstract
Micro unmanned aerial vehicles are typically controlled via radio controlled transmitter and receiver system. With the advancement of technology, drones can be controlled via Wi-Fi. Drones which has the ability to receive control commands and sent navigational data and live video stream from its on-board cameras via Wi-Fi LAN connection can be used for this purpose. This creates a possibility to program our own algorithm which can be used to control the drone easily and effectively via speech recognition. In this research paper, an algorithm has been developed which has the ability to control drone by recognizing the commands offline from the user speech. The developed program is adaptable to be used with any kind of drone with the help of a companion computer installed on the drone.
