Abstract
We analyzed the optical light curve of Zw229-015 - a Kepler field disk- dominated AGN. We used the light curve, consisting of more than 13000 individual equally-spaced data points, aiming to search for deterministic (chaotic) signatures in it. The correlation integral method was applied for this purpose. We found no convincing evidence for the presence of a low-dimensional attractor, because perhaps the light curve was dominated by a characteristic timescale. We interpreted our results in terms of re- processing of high-energy central radiation into the optical band in the outer accretion disk.
