Abstract
In this work, scintillation light produced during avalanche in Thick Gas Electron Multiplier based UV photon detector, working with pure neon gas, are simulated and studied using Garfield++ and Magboltz programs. Electroluminescence (EL) yield for different gas pressures as a function of applied voltages are estimated and presented here.
