Abstract

We report a single etch wafer scale fabrication of nanostructured antireflective superhydrophobic surface using deep reactive ion etching technique inspired by the Dragonfly wing surface. Contact angle as high as 168°±2.2° and reflectance as low as 0.5% is obtained from the high aspect ratio nanostructured surfaces.
