Abstract

We propose an efficient and fast automated route and cycle finding algorithm for programmable photonic integrated circuits (PPIC). These algorithms are based on the depth-first search method and can find all the physical paths and cycles for a given PPIC, eliminating all the non-physical paths on their own.
