Abstract

Nature offers abundant resource for preparing nanomaterials with different functionality, size and shape. In this review, we are giving an elaborate discussion about the bio-source assisted synthesis of various metal nanoparticles (NPs), quantum dots (QDs) and nanoclusters. Moreover, it highlights the application of biosynthesized nanomaterials in colorimetric, fluorescence, surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and electrochemical sensor. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.
