Abstract
We motivate various reasons for going beyond Standard Model. A detailed introduction of Supersymmetry is presented and the Supersymmetric Standard Model is introduced. The present status of supersymmetry is reviewed. A brief introduction to extra dimensions is presented. These are notes for lectures presented at AEPSHEP 2016, Beijing, China. © CERN, 2018.
