Stagewise flotation on the low grade wolframite deposit, dry ground to -200 mesh, was carried out. The effect of concentrations of Na silicate, lactic acid, and Na oleate and pH on the flotation was studied. The results are explained on the basis of isoelectric point of wolframite and pKa value and critical micelle concentration of Na oleate collector. The mechanism of collector adsorption on the wolframite is explained.
