In the present work conductivity measurement and its dependence on temperature and composition are studied. Sodium based molybdo-phosphate glasses containing ZnO were synthesized by microwave heating technique. The ion conductivity is measured in frequency range 100 Hz to 107 Hz at various temperatures. The measured conductivity data of the investigated glasses are analyzed by using Nyquist-type plots. The conductivity increases while the activation energy decreases with the mol fraction of Na2O. The variations seen in conductivity and activation energy are correlated to the structural changes occurring due to network modification.
