Abstract

In the title compound, $C_1_9H_1_2FNO_,$ the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the 9H-xanthene moiety and the 3-fluorophenyl group is 82.5(1)°. An intramolecular. $C-H\cdot\cdot\cdot\p$$\pi$ interaction stabilizes the mol. conformation.
