Abstract

This paper presents the design of a wireless charging station using radio frequency energy, for small, rechargeable portable devices using a container of dimensions 100x100x100 mm(3). Two folded uniplanar inverted F antennas working at 865 MHz ISM band are used as power transmitters. A rectifier circuit is designed for the receiver end to convert the incident RF power into DC power. Uniformity of electromagnetic fields within the container is studied using numerical simulations.
