Abstract

Nanowires of $GeS_2$ and $GeSe_2$ have been obtained by novel chemical routesinvolving the decomposition of organo-ammonium precursors containingsuper-tetrahedral $Ge_4S_1_0$ and the dimeric $Ge_2Se_6$ units.
