Abstract

In this paper, we formulate the failure detection and isolation problem in frequency domain which will answer the following questions in a natural way: (i) How do we determine the minimum length of the window of observations that is required for detection and isolation? (ii) Can we generate all possible parity vectors from a given minimum order parity vectors.
