Abstract

The introduction of 10 vol.% ash particles in both untreated (i.e. as-received) and ones involving where their surfaces were given specific treatments either favouring adhesion or decreasing the bonding between ash filler and matrix epoxy and the consequent changes in strength due to three point bending involving short beam test in both dry (i.e.unexposed) and 100 h water immersed cases has been investigated.
