Long-term active immunization of nonhuman primates (bonnet monkey) with ovine FSH [9002-68-0] resulted in continued testicular dysfunction leading to acute oligospermia or azoospermia. Since immunization with oFSH seemed to effect only spermatogenesis and not testosterone [58-22-0] levels and libido, the importance of using this protein as a vaccine is discussed
