$N_2H_5M(N_2H_3CO_2)_3-mH_2O$ (M = Cd, m = 3; M = Fe, m = 1) and $N_2H_5Cd_{1/3}Fe_{2/3}(N_2H_3CO_2)_3-H_2O$ were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis IR spectrometry, and TG/DTA. The 3 hydrazinecarboxylates decompostion at 120, 165, and $145^0$ in air to give CdO, $\gamma-Fe_2O_3$, and $CdFe_2O_4$. The Cd hydrazinecarboxylate decomposition explosively leaving no residue.
