Abstract

The impression creep behavior of Cd and Zn was investigated at 353-473 K. The data are similar to those obtained under conventional tensile creep conditions. The effect of punch diam. and extent of plastic zone below the punch were detd. Utility of the technique in studies of the effect of grain boundaries on creep is demonstrated.
